Potter focusing on tableware in South London

All pieces are thrown Stoneware and high fired with lead free, food safe glazes

Why tableware?

My family never use matching mugs. There was a good set in the back of the cupboard for when guests visited but growing up I would reach for a particular favoured mug every morning. Yes I enjoyed its lurid colour but what really made me find the same mug every day was it's reassuring weight, polished bowl like shape in my hands whilst I sat cross legged on a kitchen chair.

My mornings in a London flat are decidedly different now but my tableware is made with those moments in mind. Be it a mug for the first coffee of the day, or a tableware set for a dinner table surrounded by friends, I make pieces to fill in the details in those moments. Each series is designed and made with attention to detail to create functional and beautiful pieces which I hope will become a cherished part of daily life.
